In Galatians 3:28, the Apostle Paul makes a profound statement about the unifying power of the gospel. He explains that faith in Jesus Christ completely removes the barriers that typically divide humanity. By listing three major societal divides of the ancient world, ethnic, social, and gender, Paul emphasizes that none of these distinctions matter when it comes to our standing before God. Whether someone is a Jew or a Gentile, a slave or a free person, a man or a woman, they all receive salvation the exact same way. We are all sinners in need of grace, and we are all saved by faith in Christ alone.
